Starting Sept 13, the new era begins.

Small Notes:

I decided to hold off on my article about Jikan/Berserk for at least a few days. Reason being that WordPress does not allow pull quotes. Its gonna be in PDF if it comes down to it – so it looks like im going to do some Photoshop work before i can get started.

GarouGothic is coming back in late 2008 early 2009. I made this decision on the basis that now I have to get serious about the productions I want to do. Since there is a lack of credit in Philadelphia (the place I live in the time being) – Im gonna go to New York – Boston, Florida and Atlanta to find a line of credit. GarouGothic will have a charter (a note of incorporation, or limited liability). One problem being that its going to take a while to get the domain back into my hands.

This means that the blog will stay up, but after a certain date – it will move on to the new GarouGothic site. Unlike Last Time – while they were planned to be with separate domain names – GarouGothic will be the main site and the other parts sections.  New Logos will be made as we reach that day…

The event: The one event that could make this industry the new hope of the entertainment world, or become forever shackled. It is the biggest event yet, and it will not be televised. It will start with five annoucsments (one rumor that may not happen so its four) and will end with a greater control for artists and there work, or it will be the end of the animation industry as we know it. See who will succeed if the event succeeds, and who will get the scraps if the event ends up to be a disaster.

Transsexuals, Traps, and Homo-Intrigue also coming to Cartoon Network This fall…

Yeah… the first 2 episodes of Clone Wars, shown in movie theaters, sucked horribly. But as part of a semi-continuing report about the new era coming (according to rumors, non-4kids), the roo’s over a Gawker posts two very interesting reports about the new series:

We thought all discussion of The Clone Wars ended yesterday with the discovery that if Harry Knowles hates it — enough even for George Lucas Warner Bros. to swoop in and kill his embargo-shattering review — it must be some kind of radioactively awful. But new revelations have surfaced this afternoon about Ziro the Hutt, the fringe character whom Knowles described as sounding like “a racist take on a Black New Orleans Crack-Dealing Whore.” Not quite, Harry — not even close, in fact, according to an interview published today at MTV Movies:

It’s not the look or design that pushes it over the top into stereotype, of course, but the voice (performed by Corey Burden), a lispy, high-pitched twang purposively reminiscent of Truman Capote. So how did a character who wasn’t even supposed to speak English wind up sounding like that? Because George Lucas insisted on it, Clone Wars director Dave Filion confessed.

“Zero, Jabba’s uncle, originally spoke in Hutt-ese, like Jabba and then he had a different sluggish voice just like Jabba, and then George one day was watching it and said ‘I want him to sound like Truman Capote.’ He actually said that and we were like ‘Wow!’” Filion revealed. “It’s a hybrid of it but the inspiration is definitely there on Capote. It’s one of those things that takes him from being an interesting character and I think really does put him over the top and does something. He’s a favorite among the crew here.”

Filion bafflingly stopped short of acknowledging Ziro’s sexual orientation, however (“He’s of questionable [sexuality] at least as a slug.

The Gawker continues with a new story about one of the Lucas toy owners:

While we have to say were taken slightly aback by the addition of limp-flippered velvet-slug mafioso Capote the Hutt to the Star Wars character universe, we were even more surprised to learn from a Defamer operative that the Lucas brand—Synonymous with Quality Intergalactic Family Entertainment Since 1977™—harbors other…how should we put this diplomatically…C3POic tendencies? They write:

Howard Roffman is the bigwig in charge of all of toy licensing for Lucas Film….in other words he is the guy who decides what little kids and little boys will be playing with, you know like lightsabers they can cross and things like that.

 

Anyway, on the side and this is pretty well known within Lucas, Howard Roffman is also known for his gay pornography photos of handsome young…..and i mean YOUNG….guys in action.

Sure enough, we did some internet digging, and pulled up two very different online bios for the President of Lucas Licensing. His lucasfilm.com profile dryly lists his qualifications, explaining that “Roffman was able to combine business executive functions with creative marketing skills” to eventually oversee duties for “the licensing and marketing of all Lucasfilm properties in ancillary consumer markets, including the Star Wars and Indiana Jones films.”

One show has a Trap.

We are heading into a new era and it’s isnt too pretty to see.

Dawn Osteroff is so fucking desperate she is going to parade all types of sexual darkness from the No-Named 90120 sequel, to the low rated but hyper popular to the neo-Jacobean critics Gossip Girl. And now, here comes Tyra Banks … under “advisement” (read – “bitch save my ass!”, love Dawn Osteroff) she is gonna parade one aspect of America’s issues in front of us.

You still ain’t the fuck learning Dawnnie baby. Go back to UPN’s later history remember a show that would have shown the streets of Philly? No gay issues, just modern day problems but you said no… Christ… you’re a dumb bitch. 

But of course my friends, Tyra Banks isn’t the only one with a gun to her head. Al Kahn is as well. The new series of Yugi-Oh 5D’s will air around the 13th of September. Later episodes, Yusei will find somebody he likes, a girl (which at the time he doesn’t know) is a twin with a guy who… looks just like her. Hilarity Ensues during a duel between them. Things seem to get tense. I dont know what happens next but…

This is the new set up. Or should I say sex up? Because as our nation is losing our political, legal and soon economic freedom, a strange thing happens – the sexual freedom gets larger. Its called the fascism of the left, and as much as other would say it doesn’t exist – it does. You already are experiencing it. 

So sad how we have fallen. But this is just the start…
