Shadowness
A long time since it started, and I have never left. It has grown from wonder to a internet home for me. Even though i cant draw (but i still try) I have written many a journal for this site. My love for the site is real and yes…i may have falling head over shoes (cant say heels) for one member of the site. But she don’t really know it yet.
Deviantart may have the famous people, the furries (of which we all hate … yeah we love Dogs and Wolfs too but to become a wolfu? God … soo … wrong … ) and the Gothic Industrial Culture (of which endgame hates – which is somewhat understandable, but at best misplaced but at worst is deeply self-centered/narcissistic. This is not a criticism of endgame – but of his neo-liberal feelings about what America should become) But its lost. Very Lost.
We come back to that site because its a form of reality that has been deeply ripped away from us. The Artist as mirror. The artist as a symbol, that deconstructs paper to invent a image. They create symbols. They make us see things that some like to see and other hate hate hate to.
I have plans for that site – Its a similar idea that Cartoon Brew Has and a Similar idea that I have for Garou Gothic. Its up to Meng to see if he wants to go with it. Something that gives much to you, you must give back twice as much. Its the same with the spiritual life and things that create happiness for you. There is much to be stated about that world the shadowness portrays. Its not a name nor an experience you can feel. Its more like a dream that does all these things.
There is some issues with it – but all that needs to be done is more towards what gawker is doing…
One future idea for shadowness… a art house series and conventions in the vain of PAX. You think it cant happen? You will be shocked. But it needs money. All of this does.
Sadly, the government is too busy bailing out people who dont really deserve it. But like we need them to give us money (for anything really) anyway?
The Shadowness, a site ahead of its time.
