Think about this. A old curmudgeon – being me, goes into the dens of perfidy to be a canary in a coal mine? Who says Don Quiotxe was wrong?

This upcoming year will be a watershed moment for the nation. Yes, finally there will be a entertainment industry for the drunkards and lost souls (and NO – it will not be on the Internet, thats slated for control very soon) who are sick and tired of being uplifted every god forsaken time Human Beings mess everything up from Religion, Government, how to conduct society on down.

What these wii/360 crunchyroll shakedown artists need is a dose of history, because time and time again – human beings, like the little t-cells that fight off the same flu virus just in a different clothes – refuse to learn a god forsaken thing.

So the big thing is happening January 9th, the day I will get Star Ocean 2 for the PSP.

There will be two blogs. One being for GiantBomb, the other for Anime Vice (but not for the Comic site these sites have made) These blogs will be called The Playstation Zeitgeist (Giant Bomb)
And Virtuous Song (Anime Vice).

Playstation Zeitgeist is something that needs to be said. Call me SonyBastard of SegaBastard’s fame. The 15 years of Sony’s dominance you never were told about… the games that came out and the concepts that were showcased – and why now the video game world is split apart.

If these “blogs” succeed, they will later become apart of the new GarouGothic site. Oh i’m really going to be a piss ant on these “blogs”

Now There’s a new Player in the Thundercats War…

The official Rankin/Bass website has a disturbing front page story that alleges Warner Bros. is witholding millions of dollars owed to Arthur Rankin and Jules Bass, creators of classic holiday specials like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. More details about the situation can be found in this article printed in Rankin’s hometown Bermuda paper The Mid-Ocean News. According to that piece:

The dispute arose when popular 1980s cartoon ThunderCats was re-released recently as a DVD box set by Warner Bros, which owns the distribution rights to that and 21 other Rankin/Bass titles. The box set went on to sell over a million copies, prompting Mr. Rankin to wonder about profits owed to him and his colleagues. “Sales were jumping off the charts,” said Mr. Rankin in an exclusive interview with the Mid-Ocean News.”But Warner Bros said they didn’t have any accounting on it except that they’d sold a million copies. My legal team started investigating and found out that for the last 20 years they’ve been deducting handling fees of $200,000 annually.”

Mr. Rankin explained that while Warner Bros readily admits an accounting error resulting in $2.6 million of improper deductions, they claim he caught the mistake too late. “They knew it was wrong, but said that because it has been so long, the statute of limitations has kicked in. You would imagine that Warner Bros, which makes an awful lot of money with our productions would say, ‘We’re sorry about our mistake. Here’s what we owe you’.”

This is really interesting. It seems this war may not end until there is a legal issue and ownership changes hands. Its has just begun and don’t think 2009 and 4Kids arn’t watching this really closely.

Here in this generation, fighting so many culture wars that makes no sense, and is really a bunch of nonsense…

Here is what I call, a simple life, the one that Roger Shatuck so poiently stated in his works with Marcel Proust…

In a form of a writer, voice actor, and artist. 

We didn’t care if Maddie Blaustein was a male to female transgendered. 

We only gave a damn if Maddie was good enough.

And in Mr Kahn’s ears and eyes, she is.

Maddie (once named Adam, later named Addie before she legally changed her name to Maddie) was part of the legendary 26 episodes of Pokemon. The episode, Go West, Young Meouth – was not only one of the greatest written and translated episodes since the Final Five Episodes of the Original Robotech Series, and the 12th dubbed episode of Sailor Moon (in which Jedite was killed) – and those episode’s are up with the greats of the Thundercats, Transformers, Gi-Joe, Ghostbusters, TMNT’s legendary episodes…

It was the episode that pushed Maddie, to stop living a lie. 

Thats Anime folks. Not CrunchyFail… not your fansubbers, not your tears falling emo weeboos who want one piece to comeback, and tried to destroy 4kids to do it….

It’s a rebellion, not to destroy but to divesture. That creative energy to push that was ripped time and time again by those who wanted to constrict and pervert into a era of genericism, which only exists during times of depression. Its back, but now with that genre in the hands of those who want nothing more to pervert and take it down to a level where it was before Sailor Moon aired…

You know where im getting at.

Maddie wasn’t apart of this war between those that breed and those that wish not to. She had her opinions but didn’t push them on others. She was great with who ever she worked with.

But you got to understand New York, and what my friend tells me about it. Sam (he rather be called Sabata) states that many like Maddie – at her age – are for no better word, prostitutes. Yes, they have there fame and parties; but its a dark life. 

We, in the animation industry/anime community should be thanking our lucky stars Maddie did this type of work… and not the one that takes good men from power into nothingness for 30 talents of silver. 

RIP Maddie. Join the crowded list of men and women already taken from us this year – into a better place, far away from the deep problems America has to face…

And maybe since you do see in the future…maybe Meouth did at the end, get the girl he always wanted.

Some announcements – Tuesday December 16

Im getting back to writing. Its not easy.

Some anger over comments made by certain fans of certain genres.

Looking back in my history of writing, I felt more spark in my older works. Maybe because in the end, despite some wrangling and some miscues, I was right all along?

A lot is wrong with this nation, but I still am in love with it. It is sad to see that no one sees what many others seen. We have a talking problem, a feeling problem. We speak and do things like the majority of this country’s psychopath leaders do because we do not know any better. In turn, I have no hope for the youth around the same age (between 15 and 25) as me. Go watch Gran Torino and see what I mean. Replace the gangsters with weeboos, the old heads with Clint Eastwood, the past (but we are not equating the Korean War to major disagreements about the industry) to how we were treated by the industry, and the young child, with hope for the future.

I guess what Im saying is that we have better do a way better job in promoting animation to the youth – 4Kids can only do so much, and now Disney truly wants to consolidate power. Its only a matter of time before SatAM dies – and it will be hard to say where did we go wrong. 

Im thinking that the idea that Cartoon Brew and Cartoon Retro had were great ones. I think is time to take some of there ideas one step higher. I think Garou Gothic might have to do things I never thought possible. Do you think that showcasing animation as art form and not so much a business platform would work? Im thinking that in this new world now created those who wish us dead, its maybe time to rethink from “monetary” issues  (that doesn’t mean the artist wont get paid, he/she will – i’m no fool.) into a spiritual/inner hygiene one?

I been reading a lot into this concept of Christian stewardship and what not. Im looking at it in a way that well, does things to open peoples minds, not to entrance, show symbols that weaken the heart and rip the soul, or those things that kill any responsibility to ones self. 

Its really been time to open up to the truth. The truth is that, we live in a world full of Zombie fanbases. They are closer to the herd, closer to socialistic world views than first realized and those of us who have a mind left to think and soul less corrupted by the world, must protect what ever is left of not only this animation industry, but of the Occident (The Western World) – because we do not protect this industry – not only from those who are stuck in a socialistic world view – both in the world and in animation/anime, but those who wish to consolidate power into one hand ,not just  on the web; or the animation industry/anime but as well in the real world. 

Garou Gothic is coming. When it does, vice will not be a virtue – Gluttons will be shown the door. Lust isn’t about Love, which the latter doesn’t exist, but is only a illusion. Those of feeble minds will try to strike back but fail.

This blog is only the reboot of the beginning that started way back when with Toon Radio… It had never died. It will never die until the big guy upstairs says job well done.

A Comment Made some time ago – Some updates…

-4Kids may be some pimp. I don’t see a pimp do half the things they did over the last 10 or so years.

-Thats Project Manager (Dealing with the Thundercats). Big difference. If i remember correctly Al had interests in the series back since 2002. With Bewkes having much stock in 4Kids – It could explain a lot of the issues on why 4Kids shows seem to go to CN alot.

-It seems your a fan of Cookie Jar. Im more nonplussed about them. I don’t necessarily think that 4Kids’s works are scatological eather, they have very underrated VA’s much to the chagrin of the otaku in this country. Of course Al gonna be a little mad when his best buddy over at Cookie Jar ain’t gonna merge with him (note I said merge, he would never be taken over) yet. All that Calilou and Arthur might be nice – but still 95% percent of the country and uh, there products aren’t … inspired like they were in the past … I would be worried about CJ/DiC’s future than 4Kids. Lets say, that if 4Kids survives all the take over measures, and gets a better Fox deal (it still could happen, just work with me here) and the CW somehow, someway still survives another three years. Then wouldn’t in one of those years Cookie Jar would look at 4Kids’s steadfastness and say put some of their shows on Fox or CW? Then lets say this year Chaotic just blows up as the next big fad. Everybody looks very stupid in trying to buy the company, a merger would work much better in there interest – because then Al will still be in a leadership position, and groom the next CEO of the merged company. (Hey, it Happened with Capital Cities). Much better fate for this company than having its history wiped clean, by bigger men and silly mouse’s (ah, them huh – they still don’t get it- isn’t Pixar enough!?)

-Good thing you hate those shows too. If this was the 70’s with the way morality is now…good God…eww.

-Wait good points but um, isn’t Cookie Jar copying 4Kids? Kahn must stay a maverick. He’s the King of the Mavericks. Only way that happens if 4Kids don’t get BOUGHT, but Merged with him Co-CEO. I dont want to see him control a bunch of tween pron stars or lightweight stuff. He is part of the last institutions of men like Saban and Hayward, Ditch, Masak, 3-B Productions and so on. I have doubts that even Cookie Jar would even reach such highs if it wasn’t for e/i trash they have to sell just to make people in stations happy. Maybe im not seeing it the same way as you – but with out 4Kids … the business isn’t fun no more – it just becomes… a business to promote what ever new metatheme the big guys want to promote. And it’s becoming clear that you do need a voice that says things people don’t want to say. Otherwise Its just gonna be the same old politically correct crap coming from CN/Nick/Disney and Cookie Jar. Im just hope im wrong, but I haven’t been…yet.
