One Last Word, and some of the best stories of the first year of Cartoon Electro

There is one last word that needs to be said about the Michael Jackson death.

In the 2006 World Music Awards, during the end of the show – he carried the American Flag in his hands (I’m not sure if thats the right way to hold it – he didn’t tear it etc) and that should be the memory that sticks in the fans, and the peoples minds. He cared about this country and he despite all of his fame and what not – was never bigger than the Country that raised him. You might call my words pedantic but I really don’t give a damn anymore. Im gonna say the things that may offend you – but this what i feel is the truth.

I feel sorry for some of you, but Obama isn’t doing his job. I feel sorry for him but it needs to be said because this is how i feel, Just as much as George W Bush wasn’t a Conservative of any stripe, Obama is a socialist. Its the whole cap and trade issue, the whole Healthcare issue the whole everything from the capitulation of the media (even by CNBC, but they only have a few men that are actually telling the truth about the Economic issues and its the same with MSNBC and Fox News) towards him. Fine, I don’t really give a fuck if Obama is a socialist. But even his socialism cannot override what this country means and needs. And the fact that the Congress is at best “schizophrenic” only shows that our Politics are not salvageable at the National Level, and instead of healthcare reform, there needs to be Political reform at the Local level.

Our nation is so split, so angry, so misrepresented that Politics has replaced everything that meant something in this Nation. Religion needs Politics to get people to do the right thing? Entertainment Needs Politics in order for art to survive? Minority’s need Politics to get Equality? Each of these consitualents have used Politics and it has hurt others and never got the results that they wanted.

My sister stated something very interesting. She still loves Obama, but says fuck him. Without Michael Jackson, Barrack Obama would never exist. So for Obama not to speak about Jackson’s sudden passing and let his press sectary speak on behalf of him about Jackson, is extremely disrespectful and now she distrust anything that comes from any Poltictions mouth – Obama, Clinton – anyone.

My sister is waking up to the reality of what is happening in this country, and my hope the rest of the fan base does as well. Our country is more than the nonsense that not only we see, but the world sees. We are not our Government – we are better than what they try to pull. We are worried about things that effect our own life’s and the laws The Government passes that do nothing to give us economic freedom, and honest social uplift does nothing to solve the problems we are in. Mr Jackson asked in the song, to look to the Man in the Mirror. That person is you. Only you can change you – not Obama, Not Pailn, Not Equality Now or Chronicles Magazine – you and your God that you believe in can cause change with you and then if your family wants to hear, does the same. Until you get that – you will have more problems, more worry, more sin – more greed because you have forgotten yourself. And America, like Jackson, forgot itself. It forgot the honesty, and the truth. It forgot what it ment to be an American. It forgot all those many things.

So, on this July 4th, a special saturday for all of us Americans, the flag on MJ’s hands, was his home. America. And if we let people who dont give a fuck about us, run roughshod on this country, we will not only lose the memory of Michael Jackson and the gift of Motown, Detroit Michigan gave to the world, but that America gave to the world. Just like MJ, America has its own enablers. Until we get rid of them first – America will not heal, and will have that comeback denied by those who didnt have the best interests of America and its people.
